Retail Park M&E Refurbishment — Aspire Facilities Case Study
The Challenge
A 180,000 sq ft retail park required a full M&E refurbishment to address ageing plant and bring the estate up to current standards. The challenge was delivering a complex programme of works across a fully trading retail park without disrupting tenants or shoppers.
Our Approach
Works were phased across three stages, with each phase designed to minimise impact on trading. All major plant replacements were scheduled for overnight and weekend working.
Aspire coordinated directly with each tenant to agree access arrangements and provide advance notice of any works that might affect their operations.
A dedicated project manager was on site throughout the programme, providing a single point of contact for the client, tenants and the Aspire delivery team.
The Outcome
The full programme was completed in 22 weeks with zero tenant complaints and no trading days lost. The new HVAC plant is projected to reduce energy consumption across the estate by 31%.
